In the first 6 months of 2025, Ukrainians purchased almost 31.8 thousand electric vehicles, which is 30% more than a year ago
In the first half of 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 31,753 electric vehicles (BEVs). This is 30% more than in the same period last year.
This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
It is indicated that 30,763 passenger cars were purchased (+28%)
- Commercial vehicles – 987 units (+112%)
- Electric buses – 3 units (+200%)
The share of new vehicles in BEV registrations was 18% compared to 20% last year, the report states.
The market leaders among new electric cars are BYD Song Plus EV (967 units), Volkswagen ID.Unyx (830 units), Honda eNS1 (441 units), Zeekr 7X (402 units) and Zeekr 001 (366 units).
TOP-5 first-time registered used electric cars in Ukraine: Tesla Model Y (2,968 units), Nissan Leaf (2,853 units), Tesla Model 3 (2,670 units), KIA Niro EV (1,664 units), Hyundai Kona Electric (1,496 units).
As Ukrainian Energy reported, the demand for electric cars is constantly growing. In particular, in May 2025, 1,257 new electric cars were sold in Ukraine, which is 93% more than in May 2024.
