Residents of 156 villages were left without electricity due to bad weather

As of the morning of July 30, 156 settlements in nine regions of Ukraine remain without power supply due to adverse weather conditions

According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, due to thunderstorms and gusts of wind on the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 156 settlements in nine regions were completely or partially without electricity. Energy experts predict that all subscribers will be powered by the end of the current day, but restoration work is being complicated by the persistence of difficult weather conditions in some regions, the transmission system operator said in a statement.

Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high today, July 30. As of 9:30 a.m., it was at the same level as the morning of the previous day, Tuesday.

Yesterday, July 29, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the afternoon. It was 4.3% higher than the maximum of the previous day - on Monday, July 28. Ukrenergo calls the reason for such changes hot weather in all regions of Ukraine.

In general, the country's power system is balanced as of July 30, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.

At the same time, Ukrenergo emphasizes that the need for economical energy consumption remains. Consumers are asked to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances during the period of maximum consumption - from 18:00 to 22:00.

As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", as a result of a thunderstorm and strong gusts of wind yesterday morning, Tuesday, July 29, 477 settlements in seven regions of Ukraine were completely or partially without electricity.
