Electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to grow on July 25
Heat is affecting the increase in energy consumption throughout Ukraine
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption today, Friday, July 25, is showing a growing trend. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was 6.9% higher than on the morning of the previous day, Thursday.
The reason is the heat throughout Ukraine, Ukrenergo explains. In addition, cloudy weather with rain in parts of the western and northern regions causes low efficiency of household power plants (PPS) and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general network.
Yesterday, July 24, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1.7% higher than the maximum of the previous day - on Wednesday.
In general, according to the Ministry of Energy, as of July 25, the country's power system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen.
At the same time, today there is a need for economical consumption of electricity, Ukrenergo emphasizes. Consumers are asked to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances until 10:00 p.m.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", "Ukrenergo" recorded an increase in electricity consumption in Ukraine on July 24. The reason is hot weather throughout Ukraine.
