Ukrenergo records growth in electricity consumption in Ukraine on July 24
The reason for the increase in energy consumption is hot weather throughout Ukraine
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption in Ukraine increased today, Thursday, July 24. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was 2.1% higher than at the same time the previous day, on Wednesday.
Energy consumption is increasing due to hot weather throughout Ukraine, the transmission system operator explains.
Yesterday, July 23, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was at the same level as the maximum the previous day, on Tuesday.
The country's energy system is balanced today, July 24, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the Ministry of Energy assures.
At the same time, Ukrenergo notes that today it is advisable to postpone active energy consumption to the period of the most effective operation of solar power plants (SPPs). It is best to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 16:00.

As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", as of the morning of July 23, 122 settlements in seven regions were completely or partially without electricity due to adverse weather conditions. Electricity consumption on July 23 decreased compared to the previous day.
