Residents of the city and surrounding villages are asked to stock up on water
In Sumy, one of the city's water intakes will be shut down for restoration work after attacks by Russian troops.
This was reported by the Sumy City Council with reference to the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company.
"Due to recent enemy attacks on the Sumy community and the need for urgent emergency and restoration work, one of the city's water intakes will be stopped at approximately 10:00 a.m. on July 29," the report says.
Residents of the village of Pishchane, the Veretenivka district, Peremohy Avenue, Sumskaia Teroboronia Street, Topolyanska Street, Yurii Vetrova Street, Hryhoriy Davydovsky Street and the surrounding areas were urged to stock up on water.
Water supply will be restored after emergency work is completed.
