Electricity consumption in Ukraine stabilized on June 20
At the same time, there remains a need to shift active energy consumption to daytime
According to NPC Ukrenergo, today, Friday, June 20, electricity consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators. As of 9:30 a.m., it was at the same level as the previous day, Thursday.
Yesterday, June 19, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It did not change compared to the maximum of the previous day - on Wednesday, June 18.
As of June 20, the country's power system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the Ministry of Energy states.
At the same time, there remains a need to shift active energy consumption to daytime, as energy workers continue to restore energy facilities damaged by shelling, as well as carry out scheduled repairs to prepare for the heating season and ensure stable operation of equipment during summer temperature peaks.
Therefore, consumers are urged to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 18:00, this will help reduce the load on the power system.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", electricity consumption in Ukraine increased yesterday, June 19. The reason is more cloudiness in several regions than the previous day, which reduces the productivity of household solar power plants.
