At night, Russian troops carried out another drone attack on the Ukrainian power system. Yesterday, the daily maximum of electricity consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 6% higher than the maximum of the previous working day - on Friday, November 29. The reason for such a significant increase is the application of a smaller amount of restrictive measures.
The power system is still recovering from 11 massive Russian attacks. It remains severely under-powered. Emergency repairs are ongoing at power facilities. Hourly power outages for residential consumers and power curtailment schedules for industry and business are now enforced in all regions.
Electricity imports from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continue throughout the day. The total volume is 8,343 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 837 MW in some hours.
