Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high, reports NPC Ukrenergo. Today, January 22, its level at 9:30 was 1.1% higher than on Tuesday.
"On January 21, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 6.2% higher than the maximum on January 20. The reason for such changes is cloudy weather in most regions, which led to a significant decrease in the productivity of household solar power plants," the department explains.
Energy experts remind that the power system is currently continuing to recover after massive Russian missile and drone attacks. Emergency restoration work at energy facilities is ongoing.
Today, there is also a need to save electricity. It is worth limiting the use of powerful electrical appliances from 08:00 to 20:00. Do not turn on several devices at the same time during this period.
"The situation in the power system may change," Ukrenergo emphasizes. "Follow the messages on the websites and official pages in social networks of your distribution system operator (oblenergo)."
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", the government has simplified the procedure for building distributed generation facilities. The goal is to accelerate the construction and commissioning of distributed generation facilities, gas piston and gas turbine plants during martial law.
