On the night of October 17, the occupiers attacked the energy infrastructure of the Mykolaiv Oblast. The anti-aircraft defense forces were conducting combat work.

Russian troops attacked energy infrastructure. As a result, there is a blackout of subscribers. Energy companies have already recovered most of the consumers, the work does not stop. There are no casualties.
According to the military, the occupiers launched a rocket from the Kursk region, drones from Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces took part in repelling the attack.
Thanks to the combat work of defenders, it was possible to shoot down 22 drones in the Sumy, Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Odesa and Ternopil regions, the Air Force reported.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, due to technical problems on Wednesday, October 16, consumers were cut off in parts of the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions (including the regional centers - Mykolaiv and Kherson).
