Experts promise to supply electricity in the near future
On the morning of Wednesday, October 16, due to technical problems, power was cut off to consumers in parts of the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions (including the regional centers - Mykolaiv and Kherson). This is reported by NEC "Ukrenergo". Currently, power engineers are working on eliminating the malfunction. Within a few hours, all consumers should be with light.
In total, due to hostilities and other reasons, 509 settlements of Ukraine were completely or partially cut off this morning.
Consumers in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions are without electricity due to the attacks of the Russian troops.
Due to technical reasons, there is a blackout in Kirovohrad Oblast.
Electricity consumption is increasing. Today, October 16, its level, at 9:30 a.m., was 2.5% higher than at this time the previous day. The reason for the increase in consumption is the decrease in air temperature throughout the territory of Ukraine.
Therefore, it is better to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Currently, the import of electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continues. The total volume is 9142 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1402 MW in individual years.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", yesterday, the Russians hit an energy infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv region. Due to hostilities and other reasons, 495 settlements were completely or partially cut off on Tuesday.
