On the morning of May 30, the level of energy consumption from the general network was 3.8% lower than the previous day, thanks to the efficient operation of the solar power plant
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption is showing a downward trend. As of 9:30 a.m. today, Friday, May 30, its level was 3.8% lower than in the morning of the previous day, Thursday.
The transmission system operator explains this by cloudless weather in most regions, which ensures the efficient operation of household solar power plants (SPPs) and a corresponding reduction in energy consumption from the general grid.
Yesterday, May 29, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. Due to significant warming throughout Ukraine, the consumption was 3.5% lower than the maximum of the previous day - on Wednesday, May 28, Ukrenergo notes.
As of May 30, the system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
At the same time, given the high efficiency of the solar power plant, Ukrenergo asks consumers to shift active energy consumption to daytime if possible, i.e. use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 18:00. This will help the Ukrainian power system maintain stability, as emergency and restoration work is ongoing at power facilities after massive Russian missile and drone attacks.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", the first people's power plant will be built in Ukraine - the Inzhur company is conducting work in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka.
