In some districts of Poltava and Kharkiv regions, a schedule of electricity supply has been introduced
At night, Russian UAVs attacked energy facilities in several regions. In particular, new blackouts were recorded in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, and Odesa regions. According to NEC "Ukrenergo", the equipment was damaged as a result of the hits. Specialists work where it is safe.
Electricity consumption in Ukraine is growing. Therefore, due to the consequences of shelling, in order to prevent overloading of equipment and reducing the voltage in Oblenergo networks, from 10:15 a.m. emergency shutdowns were implemented in parts of Kharkiv and Poltava regions. The light will be out until the emergency and restoration work is completed.
Electricity will be imported from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova. The total volume is 4,498 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,060 MW in individual hours.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, from September 2022 to September 2024, the Russian Federation carried out 25 massive missile-drone attacks on Ukraine's energy system and thus endangered its stability and integrity.
