Rising air temperatures in most regions of the country are leading to increased energy consumption
Electricity consumption in Ukraine today, Thursday, July 3, is showing a growing trend, the press service of NPC Ukrenergo reports. Thus, as of 9:30 a.m., its level was 3% higher than the previous day, Wednesday.
The reason for such changes in Ukrenergo is a significant increase in air temperature in most regions, which encourages consumers to use air conditioners.
Yesterday, July 2, the daily maximum consumption recorded in the evening was at the same level as the maximum the previous day - on Tuesday, July 1.
We remind you that the Ukrainian power system is currently continuing to recover after massive Russian missile and drone attacks. Emergency restoration work at power facilities is ongoing.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, the country's power system is balanced as of July 3, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen.
At the same time, given the high efficiency of solar power plants, today there is still a need to shift active energy consumption to daytime - from 10:00 to 18:00.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", yesterday, Wednesday, July 2, electricity consumption in Ukraine corresponded to seasonal indicators. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was 1% higher than the day before.
