Ukrenergo explained how the lights will be turned off today
Schedules have been canceled in some areas
In Ukraine, today, December 27, power outage schedules will be in effect. Oblenergo will activate half of the turn of outages.
This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
For residential consumers, half-hour outages will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For industry and business, power curtailment schedules will apply from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In Chernivtsi region, hourly power outages on December 27 were previously canceled. Information about this is available on the website of JSC "Chernivtsioblenergo".
Therefore, the time of application and the scope of restrictions may change during the day, energy experts remind. That is why it is worth learning about the current schedules on the websites of regional energy companies.
"The reason for the temporary introduction of restrictions is damage to energy facilities during a massive drone attack on November 25. Energy workers are working to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy to operation as soon as possible," NEK emphasizes.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", on the night of December 25, 2024, Russian troops carried out a combined strike on Ukrainian fuel and energy sector facilities with various types of air-, land- and sea-based missiles, as well as Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of simulator drones.
