As it was informed, the project "Nord Stream 2" provides for construction of two gas pipeline strings from the Russian coast through the Baltic Sea to Germany. According to the plan, the total throughput capacity should be 55 billion cubic meters per annum.
The company Nord Stream 2 AF was created to implement the project, which signed project financing agreements in April with Shell (Great Britain - the Netherlands), OMV (Austria), Engie (France), Uniper and Wintershall (both - Germany). In June, the partners transferred more than one billion Euro to the company's accounts. It is expected that the pipeline will be launched in 2019.
