In particular, the technical and basement premises of the station are used by the occupiers to store small arms and artillery ammunition - both to support the contingent stationed at the station and the forces in adjacent positions.
Also, according to calculations based on data provided by the Ukrainian underground and concerned citizens, units of the Russian Guard with a total number of up to 1,300 people are stationed on the territory of the ZNPP. In particular, the units of the Akhmat-1 riot police (Grozny, TOT of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria) and the SOBR "Agat" (Penza, Russian Federation) were identified. For the sake of camouflage, the part of the occupiers on duty uses the form of the paramilitary guards of the ZNPP, not the Russian Guard.
Around the city, the enemy laid more than 20 minefields, which surround the station and the city and have a total length of about 6.5 km. The occupiers are still afraid of a possible landing of the Defense Forces from the Dnipro.
