Ukraine expands gas production 3.6% in Jan-Sept

Natural gas production in Ukraine rose 3.6% in January-September 2017 year-on-year to 15.491 billion cubic meters (bcm), Ukrtransgaz has said in materials, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia increased gas production 3.8% to 11.336 bcm, Ukrnafta reduced production 12.9% to 0.851 bcm and other companies increased production 8.2% to 3.304 bcm, according to Interfax-Ukraine calculations.

In September alone, gas production was up 6% year-on-year to 1.711 bcm, including 1.26 bcm at Ukrgazvydobuvannia (up 6.7%), 0.077 bcm at Ukrnafta (down 26.6%) and 0.374 bcm at other companies (up 13.7%).
