Export can start in October
Russia is going to export coal from occupied Donbas to China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan and Malaysia. Andriy Chertkov, one of the leaders of the occupying Russian administration in the Donetsk region, said this, liga.net reports.
The Russian company "Don Coal Trading House" can export the Ukrainian resource through the ports of temporarily occupied Mariupol, Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don, as well as by rail through Azerbaijan and Iran.
In February 2024, the occupation leadership of the Luhansk region leased five coal mines: Samsonivska-Zakhidna, Dovzhanska-Kapitalna, Komsomolska, Vakhrushev, and Frunze coal mines to Don Coal Trading House LLC.
In June, the company leased five more: Molodogvardiysk, Red Partizan, Kharkiv, Sukhodoly-Skhidna, and the Barakov mine.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", аs a result of the Russian attack on the main substation, one of the power lines of the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP was cut off. The station was again on the verge of blackout.
