In October, compared to September, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 58% - to 181.8 thousand MWh. Exports increased 88 times - up to 60.7 thousand MWh.

This was reported by DiXi Group.

"Despite the fact that compared to September, last month's imports fell by 58%, they exceeded October's exports by three times," the report said.

Last month, Ukraine imported 181.8 thousand MWh. electricity:

- 33% of imports (59.6 thousand MWh) came from Hungary;

- almost 25% each - from Slovakia (46.3 thousand MWh) and Romania (45.1 thousand MWh);

- 11% (19.9 thousand MWh) - from Poland; - 6% (10.9 thousand MWh) - from Moldova. Exports amounted to 60.7 thousand MWh. against 0.7 thousand MWh. in September

Most of the electricity was exported to Hungary - 33% or 20.2 thousand MWh. Romania received 15.5 MWh. (26%), to Slovakia - 14.3 MWh. (25%), to Poland - 7.3 MWh. (12%), to Moldova - 3.5 MWh. (6%).

70% of exports fell on October 2-11. From October 12, exports began to fall sharply, instead, an increase in electricity imports was observed.

As "Ukrainian Energy" wrote, in 2023, capital investments in the production, processing and supply of energy resources increased to UAH 109.3 billion.
