The largest increase in capital investments was recorded in gas extraction, coal and crude oil extraction
In 2023, capital investments in the production, processing and supply of energy resources increased to UAH 109.3 billion. This is evidenced by DiXi Group data.
The largest increase in capital investment was recorded:
- for gas production - up to UAH 36.7 billion;
- coal mining - UAH 11.5 billion;
- crude oil - up to UAH 2.9 billion.
UAH 0.13 billion was invested in the production of oil refining products last year, and UAH 0.69 billion was invested in the processing of coke and coke products.
Investments in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity amounted to UAH 43.9 billion.
In the activity of production and distribution of gas through local pipelines, in 2023, a decrease in capital investments was recorded - to UAH 3 billion.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, "Ukrenergo" received a €10 million grant from the EBRD. The funds will be used to cover the company's critical operational costs and maintain liquidity.
