Ukrnafta embodies environmental, social and managerial principles

Ukrnafta implements ESG practices in its activities. Serhiy Koretskyi, director of PJSC "Ukrnafta", wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"Ukrnafta has initiated the development and comprehensive implementation of environmental, social and management (ESG) principles in the company's business processes. It is planned to calculate greenhouse gas emissions, determine ways to reduce the impact of the company's activities on the environment, and start preparing systematic reporting on sustainable development in accordance with international standards ", - wrote the director of Ukrnafta.
The next step will be the development of a green transition strategy and implementation of decarbonization projects.
He indicated that the initiative is implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Energy Security Project (ESP).
"Energy transformation is a natural path for PJSC Ukrnafta. The decarbonization course is a necessity and a response to the modern requirements of the market and society, in accordance with the European integration course of Ukraine," Koretskyi wrote.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, PJSC "Ukrnafta" earned up to UAH 40 billion in profit in two years. The enterprise paid almost UAH 80 billion of all taxes.
