The government continues to finance businesses and private households under affordable lending programs to install alternative energy sources
The Cabinet of Ministers continues to finance the installation of alternative energy sources within the framework of the "Winter Support" program.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this at a government meeting on Friday, December 13. According to him, hundreds of businesses and private homes have already taken advantage of the affordable lending programs.
In particular, 121 projects have already been implemented under the GreenHouse condominium grant program, and this number is constantly growing, the head of government noted.
"Businesses, condominiums, and private households can receive grants and soft loans to install solar stations, energy storage systems, and other energy equipment that provides power for homes and businesses," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
In May 2024, the Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund approved a new program "GreenDIM", aimed at stimulating the use of alternative energy sources.
Аs reported by "Ukrainian Energy", in October 2024, the Energy Efficiency Fund made changes to the "GreenDIM" program. In particular, the maximum grant amount was increased to UAH 2 million.
