How much has the openness of the energy sector changed over the year?

On December 3, 2020 DiXі Group will organize a presentation of the Energy Transparency Index of Ukraine 2020, which assesses the real state of information available in the sector diagnoses gaps, and identifies energy “black boxes”.

2 years ago Ukraine’s final score by this Index according to an assessment conducted by DiXi Group was 43 points out of 100. It was indicated a lack of transparency in the energy sector. Last year the final score was already 48 points. How has the situation changed this year: has the sector become more transparent or, conversely, more closed?

Energy Transparency Index 2020 covers 210 indicators based on specific European and national legislation and best global practices on information disclosure. The assessment was conducted solely based on processing open-source data regarding the energy sector operation and development.

If you want to join the discussion, we would like to ask you to register by December, 2 (5 pm), at the latest.
Link for the event will be sent to all confirmed participants by December 2, until 7 pm.

The event will be organized by the USAID Energy Sector Transparency Project, implemented by NGO DiXi Group.
The contents are the sole responsibility of DiXi Group and do not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the United States Government.
