President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters on energy and its protection.
The Head of State announced this on social networks.
"I held a meeting on energy and its protection. There were reports from the Ministry of Energy, Naftogaz, and all key industry participants. We talked about the progress of recovery after the Russian shelling on November 17 and the further protection of all critical facilities," Zelenskyy noted.
According to him, the meeting heard a report from the Air Force on covering critical infrastructure from the sky. "We are taking the most effective experience of echeloning air defense assets and spreading it to other regions," the President said.
It was also about gas infrastructure and generation: nuclear, hydro, thermal, etc. "Also - about our partnership with European countries to increase opportunities for importing electricity, in particular for business," Zelenskyy noted.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", on November 19, President Zelensky presented to the Verkhovna Rada the Plan for Internal Stability of Ukraine, which consists of ten points. One of them is ensuring the protection of energy facilities and the energy system, the development of electricity generation, production, transportation, storage and rational consumption of gas.
