The increase in energy consumption is due, in particular, to the increase in air temperature in many regions of the country
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption today, Monday, July 14, is showing a growing trend. Thus, as of this morning, its level was 2.9% higher than on the morning of the previous working day - Friday.
Ukrenergo explains these changes by the traditional increase in energy consumption at the beginning of the working week, as well as by the increase in temperature in the western and part of the central regions of Ukraine.
Yesterday, July 13, the daily maximum consumption recorded in the evening was 2.4% higher than last Sunday, July 6.
In general, as of July 14, the country's power system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
It is also reported that due to difficult weather conditions and damage to power lines, 24 settlements in four regions were completely or partially without power as of the morning of July 14. Repair crews of the regional energy company are carrying out emergency and restoration work. Power supply to all subscribers is expected by the end of the current day.
Ukrenergo emphasizes: you can find out about possible changes in the power system on the websites and official pages on social networks of regional distribution system operators (oblenergo).
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", electricity consumption in Ukraine on Friday, July 11, is showing a downward trend. As of this morning, its level was 6.6% lower than on Thursday morning.
