In particular, consumers in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kherson, Odesa regions are without electricity
On the night of October 2, Russian UAVs attacked energy facilities in Sumy Oblast. This is reported by NEC "Ukrenergo".
The equipment was damaged, as a result of which a significant number of consumers lost power. Emergency recovery work began immediately after receiving permission from the military personnel. At present, energy supply has already been restored to some consumers of the Sumy region, but work is still ongoing.
The department reminds once again that the power system is still being restored after nine mass attacks by the Russians. Emergency and scheduled repairs are ongoing at power facilities. During the hours of maximum consumption, there is a power deficit in the power system. Therefore, energy workers are asked to use powerful electrical appliances whenever possible during daytime hours - from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, 546 settlements in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions were cut off due to hostilities yesterday, October 1.
