Electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to decline on June 3

03 June 2025

Cloudless weather ensures efficient operation of solar power plants, so it is recommended to postpone active consumption to daytime

According to NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption today, Tuesday, June 3, is showing a downward trend: as of 9:30 a.m., its level was 1.5% lower than on Monday morning.

This is due to cloudless weather almost throughout Ukraine and the effective operation of household solar power plants, explains the transmission system operator.

Due to the traditional increase in energy consumption at the beginning of the working week, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening yesterday, June 2. It was 1.9% higher than the maximum of the previous working day — on Friday, May 30.

In turn, the Ministry of Energy reports that as of June 3, the power system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen.

At the same time, Ukrenergo emphasizes that, given the weather factors, it is advisable to shift active energy consumption to daytime today. Consumers are asked to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 18:00.

As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", as of yesterday morning, Monday, June 2, the level of electricity consumption in Ukraine was 3.5% lower than on the morning of the previous working day - Friday.
