But Ukrenergo advises to postpone active energy consumption to daytime
Electricity consumption has decreased. This is stated in a message from NPC Ukrenergo.
"Today, June 2, at 9:30, its level was 3.5% lower than at the same time of the previous working day - on Friday," Ukrenergo writes, adding that this is explained by cloudless weather almost throughout Ukraine, which determines the effective operation of household solar power plants.
And yesterday, June 1, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, the report says. It was 4.3% lower than the maximum of the previous Sunday, May 25. This is explained by significant warming throughout Ukraine.
The Ukrainian power system is still recovering from the massive Russian missile and drone attacks. Emergency restoration work at energy facilities is ongoing. Necessary measures are being taken to ensure the stable operation of the power system after previous attacks on energy infrastructure.
The Ministry of Energy reports that the system is balanced, no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen.
However, today it is advisable to shift active energy consumption to daytime - from 10:00 to 18:00.
The situation in the power system may change. Energy professionals are asked to monitor messages on the websites and official social media pages of the distribution system operator (oblenergo).
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", the first people's power plant will be built in Ukraine - the Inzhur company is conducting work in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka.
