515 settlements without electricity due to war and other reasons
In the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, blackouts were recorded precisely because of enemy attacks
As a result of military attacks by the Russians and for other reasons, 515 settlements were completely or partially cut off on Thursday morning. This is reported by NEC "Ukrenergo".
In particular, there are new blackouts in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions due to attacks by Russian troops.
Electricity consumption is increasing. Today at 9:30 it was 5% higher than at the same time the previous day - on Wednesday.
During the day, electricity will be imported from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova. With a total volume of 2,295 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 601 MW in individual hours. Energy workers are asked to use powerful devices during the day - from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, Ukraine is able to go through the winter of 2024-2025 without power outages. This was announced by Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko. He denied the previous forecasts of the UN monitoring mission about power outages for consumers in winter for 4-18 hours.
