From 6:00 to 22:00, electricity consumption restrictions are in effect in Ukraine
Due to difficult weather conditions - rain, sleet, ice and strong gusts of wind - on Friday morning, November 22, 325 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Cherkasy and Kherson regions were without electricity.
This was reported by NPC "UKrenergo".
Today at 5:00 AM, the level of electricity consumption was the same as the previous day, Thursday.
Yesterday, November 21, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 4.5% lower than the maximum of the previous day. This is explained by the greater volume of application of restrictive measures.
The power system is still recovering from ten massive Russian attacks. A significant power shortage remains. Emergency and scheduled repairs are ongoing at power facilities. Hourly outage schedules are in effect in all regions from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to balance the power system.
The situation in the power system is changing, and accordingly, changes in the application of restrictive measures are possible. For the current schedule of outages in your region, please visit the website or official pages of the distribution system operator (oblenergo).
Imports from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continue throughout the day. The total volume is 7,408 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 817 MWh in some hours.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", due to difficult weather conditions (heavy precipitation and accumulation of wet snow), 109 settlements in Ukraine were without electricity this morning - in Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Chernivtsi regions.
