08 July 2025

In general, up to 80% of water supply networks in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk region are in a state of emergency

In the areas of Luhansk region temporarily occupied by the Russians, 150,000 people are left without drinking water due to an emergency water supply.

The Luhansk Regional State Administration reported this on the Facebook social network.

"150 thousand residents of several cities in the occupied Luhansk region were left without drinking water due to an emergency water supply. These are residents of Kadiivka, Bryanka, Zorynsk and a number of nearby villages and towns. In total, more than 150 thousand people. This territory was captured by Russia back in 2014. For 11 years, the Russians have not paid any attention to the restoration of critical infrastructure. Let us recall that about 80% of the region's water supply networks are in an emergency state," the report says.

As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", the Russian army is purposefully attacking energy and gas facilities in Sumy region. On July 7, almost 20 thousand consumers in 147 settlements of the region were without electricity.
