Electricity consumption in Ukraine is high for the second week in a row
Electricity consumption in the country is high and corresponds to seasonal indicators, according to Ukrenergo NPC.
Today at 6:00 a.m. its level was the same as at this time of the previous working day – Friday, December 6. On December 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening.
On Monday, the scope of the application of restrictive measures in some regions changed. From 10:00 in Kyiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi and Kirovohrad regions - two queues of shutdowns are being forcibly applied simultaneously.
Ukrenergo reminds that the power system is still being restored after 11 massive attacks by the Russian army. A significant power deficit in the system remains. Emergency repairs are underway at energy facilities. Hourly outages for household consumers and power restriction schedules for industry and business are now being forcibly applied in all regions.
The situation in the power system is changing, and accordingly, changes in the application of restrictive measures are possible.
