Electricity consumption has stabilized in Ukraine - Ukrenergo
It is kept at the level of seasonal indicators
On Thursday, January 9, electricity consumption was at the same level as the previous day, according to Ukrenergo NPC.
On January 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. The figure was the same as the previous day.
Ukrenergo reminds that the power system is still recovering after thirteen massive missile and drone attacks by Russian troops over the past year. Emergency restoration work at power facilities is ongoing. Specialists are doing everything possible to restore damaged equipment and replace equipment destroyed by the enemy as soon as possible.
"The situation in the power system may change. Follow the messages on the websites and official pages in social networks of your distribution system operator (oblenergo)," the regulator said in a statement.
As Ukrainian Energy reported, thanks to weather conditions and proven schemes for rapid restoration of networks and equipment, energy companies minimized the consequences of the last five waves of Russian attacks.
