Due to the massive attack by the Russian troops, the operator of the transmission system in the morning of January 15 applies preventive measures for limiting electricity consumption. In several areas, emergency shutdowns are used.

The list includes Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions. Emergency disconnection was introduced here, the regulator said.
Subsequently, in the DTEK social networks, information appeared that in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions emergency shutdowns of light were canceled.
In case of changes, the power companies will be reported additionally.
At night and morning, January 15, the Russian army also attacked the Lviv region with the help of shock UAVs and winged missiles.
"The enemy attacked the energy infrastructure of our region and Ukraine. Emergency shutdowns have been introduced in 6 regions, but there is no emergency shutdown in this list yet," - wrote Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi after the breakdown of air anxiety.
