There will be a wind power plant in the Volyn region
The object will have 20 windmills
A wind power plant consisting of 20 generators is being built in the Volodymyr district of Volyn.
This was reported by the head of the Volyn OVA, Yuriy Pogulyajko. The facility is being built by Onur Group.
"Despite the war and the daily challenges faced by business, new powerful factories are being created in Volyn. I was convinced of this personally after seeing the scale of the construction of a wind power plant in Volodymyr Oblast," said the head of the region.
The construction of a wind turbine is not an easy task, because the project involves significant investments aimed not only at the installation of the actual generators, but also at the creation of the necessary infrastructure. In particular, this includes the network of roads necessary for the construction, maintenance and operation of the facility. Residents of the surrounding settlements will also be able to use them.
The wind farm will provide not only electricity to the region, but also jobs and will contribute to the development of local infrastructure.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, the share of RES in Ukraine is growing. In the first half of 2024, it reached 9.8%.
