Residents of 55 villages left without electricity due to bad weather

26 June 2025

On the morning of June 26, 55 settlements in four regions of Ukraine were without power due to adverse weather conditions

According to NPC Ukrenergo, as of Thursday morning, June 26, due to adverse weather conditions (rain, thunderstorms, strong winds), 55 settlements in four regions were completely or partially without electricity. Power engineers are carrying out emergency restoration work to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible.

Electricity consumption on June 26 corresponds to seasonal indicators, Ukrenergo states. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was at the same level as the previous day, Wednesday.

Yesterday, June 25, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1.5% higher than the maximum of the previous day - on Tuesday, June 24.

The country's energy system is balanced on June 26, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.

At the same time, there is still a need to shift active energy consumption to the period of the most productive operation of solar power plants - consumers are asked to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 18:00.

As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", as of yesterday morning, Wednesday, June 25, several dozen settlements in three regions were completely or partially without power supply due to thunderstorms and gusts of wind.
