Electricity consumption in Ukraine decreases on June 30
At the same time, there is still a need to shift active energy consumption to the period of the most productive operation of the solar power plant - from 10:00 to 18:00
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption in Ukraine on Monday, June 30, is showing a downward trend. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was 3.1% lower than the previous working day - Friday, June 27.
The decrease in consumption is due to the establishment of clear weather almost throughout Ukraine, thanks to which household solar power plants (SPPs) operate effectively and, accordingly, energy consumption from the general network decreases, Ukrenergo explains.
Yesterday, June 29, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was at the same level as the maximum of the previous Sunday, June 22.
As of June 30, the system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the Ministry of Energy assures.
At the same time, given the clear weather today, it is worth moving active energy consumption to the period of the most productive operation of the solar power plant, that is, it is better to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 18:00.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", on the previous working day, Friday, June 27, "Ukrenergo" recorded stabilization of energy consumption in Ukraine. In the morning, the level of electricity consumption was at the same level as on Thursday morning.
