Even during peak consumption on hot days, there are no plans to introduce electricity supply schedules
Currently, there is no high risk of introducing power outage schedules even during peak consumption on hot days.
Ukrinform was informed about this by the press service of NPC Ukrenergo.
"Currently, there is no mention of a high risk of applying restriction measures in the summer (even during peak consumption periods in hot weather). The repair campaign at the main generation facilities was planned in such a way that the power system was maximally capable of meeting the needs of all consumers," the agency reported.
Ukrenergo noted that so far this year there have been no such large-scale attacks on the power system as last year. In addition, thanks to repairs, the energy sector has restored some of the generation facilities damaged last year and restored the transmission system networks.
The construction of new distributed generation facilities also had a positive impact on the state of the power system.
"The Ukrenergo press service emphasized that the company is doing everything possible to ensure that the main networks and high-voltage substations are ready for increased loads both in the summer and in the next autumn-winter period," the Ukrinform agency reports.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to decline on June 3. Cloudless weather ensures efficient operation of solar power plants, so active consumption is advised to be postponed to daytime.
