According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, as a result of adverse weather conditions on the morning of Tuesday, May 27, 51 settlements in two regions were completely or partially without electricity. Emergency restoration work on the lines is already underway. The regional energy company's teams are doing everything possible to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible.

Electricity consumption in the country is showing a downward trend. According to Ukrenergo, as of 9:30 today, May 27, its level was 2.6% lower than at the same time the previous day. This is due to the decrease in cloudiness in some regions, which leads to more efficient operation of household solar power plants (SPPs).

Yesterday, May 26, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning, it was 3.7% higher than the maximum of the previous working day - May 23. The transmission system operator cites the low efficiency of household solar power plants and the traditional increase in energy consumption at the beginning of the week as the reason for this.

Given the weather conditions and low efficiency of solar power plants, there is a need for economical energy consumption today - if possible, limit the use of powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 22:00, Ukrenergo urges.
