Electricity consumption has been increasing in Ukraine since Monday
There are imports from five countries with a total volume of 10,218 MWh and a capacity of 834 MW
Electricity consumption currently remains high and corresponds to seasonal indicators. NEC "Ukrenergo" reported this. Today, December 4, at 6:00 a.m., its level was 1.1% higher than at the same time of the previous working day - on Tuesday.
Yesterday, December 3, the daily maximum consumption was recorded during the day. It was 3.3% lower than the previous day's high on Monday, December 2.
Currently, the power system is recovering after 11 massive attacks by the Russians, and it still has a significant power deficit. Emergency repairs are ongoing at power facilities. Hourly shutdowns of household consumers and capacity limitation schedules for industry and business are now enforced in all regions.
Last day, the power industry restored power to 88,732 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities. This was reported to the Ministry of Energy.
For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 10,218 MWh and a capacity of 834 MW are forecast.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, the USA will help the energy system of Ukraine with funds. The amount is 825 million dollars.
