Electricity consumption has increased in Ukraine - Ukrenergo
The reason is lower efficiency of household solar power plants due to cloudy weather
Today, January 10, electricity consumption at 9:30 was 2.7% higher than the previous day. The reason for this increase is cloudy weather in most regions, which leads to lower efficiency of household solar power plants. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
On January 9, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1% lower than the maximum consumption level of the previous day.
Ukrenergo once again reminds that the power system continues to recover after thirteen massive missile and drone attacks by Russian troops over the past year. Emergency restoration work at power facilities is ongoing. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore damaged equipment and replace equipment destroyed by the enemy as soon as possible.
At the same time, the Ukrenergo message emphasizes that the situation in the power system may change. It is worth following the messages on the websites and official pages in social networks of your distribution system operator (oblenergo).
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", рroducers pumped 1 million cubic meters of biomethane into the network. In 2024, two bioenergy companies loaded the first million cubic meters of biomethane into the Ukrainian network and underground gas storage facilities – Chairman of the Board of BAU.
