On the morning of July 10, 371 settlements in 7 locations were completely or partially without power due to bad weather.
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, as of Thursday morning, July 10, 371 settlements in seven regions were completely or partially without power due to adverse weather conditions (thunderstorm, gusts of wind). Oblenergo specialists are working to restore power to all consumers as soon as possible.
Electricity consumption continues to grow today, July 10. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was 1% higher than in the morning of the previous day. Ukrenergo explains the increase in consumption by the persistence of hot weather throughout Ukraine, as well as cloudy weather with precipitation in the western and part of the central regions. This causes low efficiency of household solar power plants (SPPs) and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general network.
Yesterday, July 9, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 2.9% higher than the maximum of the previous day - on Tuesday.
In general, as of July 10, the country's power system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen, the Ministry of Energy reports.
At the same time, today there is still a need for economical consumption of electricity, Ukrenergo notes. Therefore, consumers are urged to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 22:00.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", as of yesterday morning, Wednesday, July 9, 681 settlements in 6 regions were completely or partially without electricity due to bad weather. Electricity consumption on Wednesday continued its upward trend.
