Occupied city in Luhansk region without electricity for over two years
It is unknown when power will be restored there.
In the temporarily occupied Novodruzhesk of the Luhansk region, problems with electricity supply have begun since the start of the full-scale war. The city has been without electricity for almost two years. This was reported by the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Artem Lysohor.
"The local residents who remained hoped for a solution to the problem during the pseudo-referendum, then after the so-called first elections. And also - with the change of the curator from the Russian Federation and the Lysychansk Gauleiter," Artem Lysohor emphasized.
He added that there are still no signs of restoration of critical infrastructure facilities in Novodruzhsk. Recently, they began dismantling equipment at transformer substations. “Representatives of the Russian army have been involved in the work. There will be no electricity,” the official summed up.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", this is not the first time that a Russian drone has attacked DTEK energy workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy drone hit a DTEK repair crew vehicle. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
