From 2025, the electricity transmission tariff for NEC "Ukrenergo" will increase by 25.8% - to UAH 665.26/MWh
The National Commission for Energy and Communal Services approved the draft resolution on increasing the electricity transmission tariff for 2025 by 25.8% to UAH 665.26/MWh.
This became known at the meeting of the regulator, writes Forbes Ukraine.
A separate tariff for the transmission of electricity for green metallurgy is proposed to be set at the level of UAH 352.73/MWh.
The tariff for dispatch management is offered at the level of UAH 95.07/MWh.
Among the official reasons for the tariff increase are a decrease in the production and transmission of electricity; an increase in compensation for technological expenses, salaries at Ukrenergo, loan payments and expenses for special duties for settlements with renewable energy generation. Inflation and exchange rate growth are also taken into account.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", Ukrenergo again records an increase in electricity consumption due to the cold weather.
