15 November 2024

At the same time, the ZANP, which has been under Russian occupation since March 4, 2022, experienced 8 complete blackouts

The radiation level at the Zaporizhzhya NPP is within the limits of current norms. This was reported by Energoatom.

From November 11 to November 15, 2024, the power of the exposure dose of gamma radiation in the area where the Zaporizhzhya NPP is located in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine met the current standards.

At the same time, the ZANP, which has been under Russian occupation since March 4, 2022, has experienced 8 complete blackouts. "Only the return of the Zaporizhzhia NPP to the control of Ukraine can guarantee the nuclear safety of the whole world," Energoatom emphasizes. At the next meeting of the Board of Governors of the IAEA, the Ukrainian side must publicize the key issues about the situation at the occupied ZNPP, the restoration of security parameters, and the demand for international pressure on Russia.

As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, Russia is trying to legalize the occupation of the ZNPP through international conventions. This is stated in the State Nuclear Regulation Inspection of Ukraine.
