Energy experts insist on economical consumption of electricity throughout the day
Electricity consumption today corresponds to seasonal indicators. This is reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
On Monday, December 16, at 6:00, its level was 1.5% higher than at this time of the previous working day - on Friday, December 13. Yesterday, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening.
It was 2.8% lower than the maximum of the previous day - on Saturday, December 14.
The power system is still recovering from 12 massive attacks by Russian forces since the beginning of this year, and there is still a significant capacity deficit. Emergency repairs are ongoing at power facilities, forcing hourly outages for residential consumers and capacity restriction schedules for industry and business.

Electricity imports from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continue throughout the day. The total volume is 21,226 MWh, with maximum capacity in some hours reaching 1,142 MW.
