Late in the evening of December 18, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih, resulting in a power outage. This was reported by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul. Currently, the situation in the city is under control.
"Multi-apartment buildings, a hospital, a school, 10 cars, business facilities were damaged, central collectors, power lines, and trolleybus trolleys were broken. As a result of the impact, one of the boiler rooms was stopped. All operational and utility services were involved at the scene. The work was carried out all night. Traffic has already been restored, the trolleybuses have been repaired. The work is ongoing," Oleksandr Vilkul wrote in Telegram.
At night, a headquarters for helping people was deployed, where the necessary materials were delivered from the city's material reserve. The headquarters worked all night and will work today until 5:00 p.m. There you can get building materials (OSB, film, rails, etc.), write applications for material assistance from the city, communal brigades will help those who need it. Assistance will be provided to everyone who needs it.
In Kryvyi Rih, all services, municipal transport, hospitals and social institutions are working.
Today, at 12:00, a planned explosion will be carried out for production purposes in the quarry "No. 3" of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" (Ingulets, Central-City districts) and at 13:00, a planned explosion will be carried out for production purposes in the quarry "Gannivskyi" of PJSC "PIVNGZK" (Ternivskyi district). Production explosions are controlled, there is no reason for concern.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", there have been no power cuts in Ukraine for the third day in a row. The reasons are above-zero temperatures, increased imports, and the work of energy workers restoring damaged infrastructure.
