Conference "Transparency as a key to sustainability…"
DiXi Group with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and Publish What You Pay (PWYP) will hold a conference “Transparency as a key to sustainability: successful experience and lessons learned”.
The event will be held on January 27 at 11 a.m. Kyiv time in a hybrid format (offline in Kyiv and online – via Zoom platform). Simultaneous translation will be provided (the first panel – Ukrainian-English, the second – Russian-English).
During the event, participants will discuss the following topics:
– Ukraine: EITI (Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative) implementation in war conditions;
– Public dialogue for open contracts: successful experience and lessons learned.
During the first panel, participants will discuss Ukraine EITI Report 2021 and the Ukrainian experience of EITI implementation. During the second panel, participants will discuss why open contracts are essential for today's world and the future, contract disclosure successes and lessons learned, and recommendations for new EITI members.
Representatives from the Ministry of Energy, Ernst&Young, International Renaissance Foundation, EITI International Secretariat, PWYP, extractive companies, and NGOs from Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan will participate in the event.
