26 November 2024

As a result of the bad weather, 38 settlements in two regions were also without power

As a result of a massive drone attack last night, emergency shutdowns were introduced in the Ternopil region. However, the previous schedules for the application of restrictive measures there are currently not in effect. This was reported by the Ukrenergo NPC.

Power engineers have already begun repair work to restore stable power supply in the Ternopil region as soon as possible.

Due to the consequences of difficult weather conditions, 38 settlements were without power as of this morning: 35 in the Chernihiv region and 3 in the Sumy region. Emergency restoration work in these regions is ongoing.

Electricity consumption is increasing. This morning, November 26, its level was 5% higher than at the same time the previous day. This is explained by the frosty weather in most regions throughout the day.

Yesterday, November 25, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 9.4% higher than the previous working day - Friday, November 22. This is explained by the decrease in air temperature compared to last week.

Electricity imports from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova continue throughout the day. Total volume 7,197 MWh, with maximum capacity in individual hours up to 684 MW.

As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", electricity outage schedules will be applied in all regions of Ukraine on Tuesday, November 26.
