He became Peter Stiles - a specialist with more than 30 years of experience in the management of energy businesses
The Supervisory Board of the State Energy Trader of the Energy Company of Ukraine held its first meeting on September 26. Based on its results, the chairman of the supervisory board was elected. This is Peter Stiles, a specialist with over 30 years of experience in managing energy businesses, trading operations and regulating energy markets in Europe.
Peter Stiles promised to make every effort to use the company's potential for reliable and stable energy supply to consumers of Ukraine. "In this extremely difficult time, it is important to continue the modernization of Ukraine's energy industry through its closer integration with European markets and the introduction of new technologies," Peter Stiles said.
At the first meeting, a decision was also made to create committees of the supervisory board, and their members and leaders were elected.
"ECU is an example of a state-owned company that, even in wartime, manages to develop and achieve results thanks to strong management and a team. We hope that the start of the supervisory board's work will create new effects from the ECU's activities for the energy security of Ukraine, as well as filling the state budget," said Nataliya Panova, deputy of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
At the beginning of September 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the submission of the State Property Fund of Ukraine on the appointment of the ECU supervisory board.
